Polityka prywatności
Obowiązuje od: 27 października 2026
Wersja robocza. Przed publikacją w sklepach z aplikacjami należy uzupełnić dane administratora i skonsultować tekst z prawnikiem.
1. Administrator danych
2. Jakie dane zbieramy
- Anonimowy identyfikator — tworzony automatycznie przy pierwszym uruchomieniu. Z aplikacji można korzystać bez konta.
- Pseudonim i zdjęcie profilowe — jeśli je podasz.
Nie pokazujemy go innym.
- Obserwacje — gatunek, miejsce na mapie, data i godzina, opcjonalnie opis zachowania, notatka i zdjęcie. Obserwacje są publiczne i widoczne na mapie.
- Potwierdzenia cudzych obserwacji.
- Statystyki użycia — zdarzenia w aplikacji (np. otwarcie, zgłoszenie, wybór gatunku), typ urządzenia, język, strefa czasowa i przybliżona okolica (~10 km). Powiązane z anonimowym identyfikatorem. Możesz je wyłączyć: Profil i konto → Prywatność.
- Powiadomienia push — jeśli je włączysz: adres subskrypcji urządzenia, strefa czasowa, przybliżona okolica (~10 km) i wybrane rodzaje przypomnień. Możesz je wyłączyć w aplikacji lub w ustawieniach telefonu.
- Ustawienia w przeglądarce (język, styl mapy, postęp w samouczku) — zapisywane lokalnie na Twoim urządzeniu.
Nie sprzedajemy danych osobowych.
3. Cel i podstawa prawna
- Prowadzenie wspólnej mapy obserwacji i gry (zgoda — art. 6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO, wyrażana w aplikacji).
- Udostępnianie zanonimizowanych danych o obserwacjach miastom, szkołom i naukowcom (zgoda — j.w.).
- Konto, przeniesienie postępów i kontakt w sprawie nagród (wykonanie usługi — art. 6 ust. 1 lit. b RODO; telefon i kontakt marketingowy — zgoda).
6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO; możesz się sprzeciwić, wyłączając statystyki).
- Przypomnienia push (zgoda wyrażana przy włączeniu powiadomień).
- Bezpieczeństwo i ochrona przed nadużyciami, np. limit zgłoszeń (prawnie uzasadniony interes — art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO).
4. Komu przekazujemy dane
| Usługa | Do czego | Gdzie |
| Supabase | baza danych, logowanie, zdjęcia, statystyki | UE (Frankfurt) |
| Google, Apple | logowanie (tylko jeśli je wybierzesz) | USA |
| Dostawca poczty (SMTP) | wysyłka kodów logowania | UE |
| GitHub Actions | wysyłka przypomnień push | USA |
| Google Firebase, Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft | dostarczanie powiadomień push na Twoje urządzenie (usługa powiadomień Twojej przeglądarki lub telefonu) | USA / globalnie |
| GitHub Pages | hosting strony i aplikacji | globalnie |
| VersaTiles, OpenFreeMap, OpenStreetMap | kafelki mapy (otrzymują adres IP) | UE |
| Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) | wyszukiwanie adresów, nazwy miejsc | UE |
| iNaturalist, Wikipedia | podpowiedzi gatunków i opisy (wysyłamy wpisany tekst i przybliżoną lokalizację pinezki) | USA |
5. Jak długo przechowujemy dane
Obserwacje przechowujemy, dopóki projekt działa, bo są wartością naukową. Konto możesz usunąć sam: Profil i konto → „Usuń konto i dane”. Usuwamy wtedy pseudonim, zdjęcie profilowe, e-mail, telefon, potwierdzenia, subskrypcje push i statystyki, a obserwacje zostają na mapie bez podpisu. Statystyki użycia przechowujemy do 24 miesięcy.
6. Twoje prawa
Privacy policy
Effective: 27 October 2026
Draft. Before publishing in app stores, fill in the controller details and have the text reviewed by a lawyer.
1. Data controller
The data controller is: [full name or foundation name, address]. Contact: hello@tropami.com.
2. What data we collect
- An anonymous identifier — created automatically on first launch. You can use the app without an account.
- Nickname and profile photo — if you set them. Others see them in the ranking and on your sightings.
- Account (optional) — if you sign in with Google, Apple or email: your email address and the account identifier at that provider. Used to sign you in and to move your progress to another device. Never shown to others.
- Phone number — optional, only to contact you about prizes. Never shown to others.
- Sightings — species, place on the map, date and time, and optionally behaviour, a note and a photo. Sightings are public and visible on the map.
- Confirmations of other people’s sightings.
- Your current location — only if you allow it, and only to show the map around you. We do not store it unless you report a sighting at that place.
- Usage statistics — events in the app (e.g. opening it, reporting, choosing a species), device type, language, time zone and approximate area (~10 km). Linked to the anonymous identifier. You can turn them off: Profile & account → Privacy.
- Push notifications — if you turn them on: your device's subscription address, time zone, approximate area (~10 km) and the reminder types you chose. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone settings.
- Browser settings (language, map style, tutorial progress) — stored locally on your device.
We do not sell personal data.
3. Purpose and legal basis
- Running the shared sightings map and the game (consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given in the app).
- Sharing anonymised sighting data with cities, schools and researchers (consent — as above).
- Your account, moving progress between devices and contacting you about prizes (performance of the service — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; phone and marketing contact — consent).
- Usage statistics, improving the app and measuring reach, including aggregated figures for partners and advertisers (legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; you can object by turning statistics off).
- Push reminders (consent, given when you turn notifications on).
- Security and abuse prevention, e.g. report limits (legitimate interest — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who receives data
| Service | Purpose | Where |
| Supabase | database, sign-in, photos, statistics | EU (Frankfurt) |
| Google, Apple | sign-in (only if you choose it) | USA |
| Email provider (SMTP) | sending sign-in codes | EU |
| GitHub Actions | sending push reminders | USA |
| Google Firebase, Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft | delivering push notifications to your device (your browser's or phone's notification service) | USA / global |
| GitHub Pages | hosting of the site and app | global |
| VersaTiles, OpenFreeMap, OpenStreetMap | map tiles (receive your IP address) | EU |
| Nominatim (OpenStreetMap) | address search, place names | EU |
| iNaturalist, Wikipedia | species suggestions and descriptions (we send the typed text and the approximate pin location) | USA |
5. How long we keep data
We keep sightings for as long as the project runs, because they have scientific value. You can delete your account yourself: Profile & account → “Delete account and data”. We then delete your nickname, profile photo, email, phone, confirmations, push subscriptions and statistics; sightings stay on the map without your name. Usage statistics are kept for up to 24 months.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing). Write to hello@tropami.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
7. Children
People under 16 may use the app with the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect children’s data without such consent.
8. Changes
We will announce significant changes in the app and on this page.
